Citrus Swallowtail Hindwings
Scientific name: Papilio demodocus.
Common name: Citrus Swallowtail or Christmas Butterfly.
Location: Sub-Saharan Africa & Madagascar.
These are currently my personal favorite pair! They go with so many things.
Fun Fact: They feed on a variety of native plants but have a particular fondness for Citrus leaves, hence their name.
Fine Print: Insects naturally vary in color, pattern and size, and so the pair you receive may not be completely identical to the pair shown. They also may have minor damage, especially in the case of those that died of natural causes.
Care instructions: Don't leave resin sitting in a hot car with oven temperatures (we're looking at you Florida). To clean, use a glasses cloth or other soft, lint-free cloth to prevent scratching.
