White-Barred Emporer Hindwings
Scientific name: Charaxes brutus.
Common name: White-Barred Emporer or White-Barred Charaxes.
Location: Africa.
Fun Fact: Caterpillars of all leafwing butterflies all look like they are wearing little masks with 4 horns sticking out, covered in a layer of spines. Their mask varies a lot by species, and this one has short blueish projections. Photo courtesy of WhatsThatBug.com
Fine Print: Insects naturally vary in color, pattern and size, and so the pair you receive may not be completely identical to the pair shown. They also may have minor damage, especially in the case of those that died of natural causes.
Care instructions: Don't leave resin sitting in a hot car with oven temperatures (we're looking at you Florida). To clean, use a glasses cloth or other soft, lint-free cloth to prevent scratching.
