These light colored fish use their black stripes and schooling behavior to confuse predators— similar to how Zebras developed stripes to make it difficult to pick one out of a herd.
6" x 6" wood canvas panel.
Comes strung with picture wire for hanging.
This fish was accidental bycatch from the fishing industry. Instead of just being tossed back dead, it was salvaged for art.
The sea fan is from a trip to PR. My partner is Puerto Rican, so on every trip to see family I walk the beach looking for dead bits.
