Red-headed Centipede (Scolopendra morsitans).
$63.00
The word “centipede” is Latin for “hundred legs,” but the name is misleading. Centipedes only have one pair of legs per segment, and they always have an odd number of body segments, which means they can never have an even 100 legs. Number of legs varies by species— some has as few as 30, others can have as many as 354!
Insects come from entomological supply companies. They are farm-raised by locals dedicated to conservation.
Art is 8" x 4". Comes with picture wire mount on the back for hanging. I also sell small easels if you prefer to display them to standing in your curio cabinet.
